Good time in Mendoza - still at school

Life in Medoza has been really good. The school has been great - a nice bunch of fellow students, good teachers and some definite progress on the Spanish. Ian even booked some flights in Chile on the phone - although he will be congratulated when we actually get to our destiniation!

Tour of the vineyards was good and Tina has been enjoying the local customs - it's herbal tea and despite the appearance of her friend, there's nothing illegal (well there wouldn't be would there!)

Our local host is a great cook and has been really friendly - we have met some of the family - but talked mostly in English!

Last day at the school tomorrow - will be sorry to leave Mendoza as we have spent most of the time studying and hanging out (as our US friends would say).

Bus to Santiago, Chile on Saturday morning - 7 hour trip across the Andes - hoping for good weather as views are supposed to be spectacular.

Tina doing her homework! (gets help from Malena - her host) coping just about okay in class, but having such a laugh with fellow students! Nick, Gabriel and Niels, spend most of the time in class laughing! thankfully not
always at me.

  1. Tina, you are looking a little pink in this picture, is it the sun or too much of that wine behind you? Good to see you are still enjoying yourselves and, more importantly, still speaking to each other! Enjoy Chile. Missing you loads. Sx
