Tina rises, the sun sets...

Friday morning was another quiet one as Tina finished her re-cuperation. The picture here is the main street on a Saturday morning - looks pretty primitive but what you can't see behind is the bar showing the FA Cup final live! I did not stay to watch...

The main event for Friday was the afternoon trip to the Lunar Valley and other parts of the desert. Went to quite a few different parts of the desert and were taken to a really good vantage point to watch the sun set - along with about a dozen other minibuses - one of which arrived late and parked directly in everyone's view of the sunset!

Fantastic and ever changing views and colours as the sun set.

Tina with more colour than she had for the previous 2 days!

'Death Valley' - but then every desert has one of these

  3. Hi Tina! I've at last managed to catch up on all your travels so far; the blog is great, and a wonderful way to share the experience of a lifetime. I feel quite envious - Greece isn't nearly so exotic! Hope all continues to go well. I'll keep following your further adventures. Love, Pat
